Easy Muesli
Here is the recipe for my really easy and crunchy muesli, which only contains 5 ingredients and is very simple to make. I think muesli is really delicious on yogurt.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons peanut butter
- 6 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons sunflower or rasp oil
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 400 g finely rolled oatmeal
Course of action
Preheat the oven to 120 °C.
Heat the peanut butter, honey and oil in the microwave and stir. Repeat until you have a liquid mass.
Add 0.5 teaspoon of vanilla sugar and stir until well combined.
Put 400 g of finely rolled oatmeal in a bowl and stir it together with the warm peanut butter/honey mixture. Stir until all the garden grits are covered with the mixture. Tip: If you would like the muesli to be sweeter, you can make extra peanut butter/honey mixture so that the stock becomes thicker.
Spread the covered oatmeal on a baking tray with baking paper and place in the oven for 1.5 hours at 120 °C. Stir them a little every 10-15 minutes so that it doesn't stick together.
The muesli should be light brown when done.
Allow the muesli to cool completely and put it in an airtight container.
Deluxe Edition: Add chocolate, nuts or raisins.
Vegan alternative: Replace honey with e.g. light syrup.
Enjoy.
