Elsa Mittens is a pair of unisex mittens with a winter-inspired pattern, perfect for fall and winter wear. The mittens can be knitted in three different sizes: 1 (2) 3. Note: If the mittens are knitted in wool/alpaca, they will filter and shrink in general use. The mittens in the picture are knitted in “Gray”, “Midnight Blue” London Merino fine from Mayflower and “Flipperfest” Hand-dyed extra fine merino wool from Minekreative Verden.

Full length (without rib): 19.5 ( 20.5) 22cm
Width measured at the center of the mitten: 9 (9.5) 10 cm
Knitting tension (after washing and block): 34 mx 33 p pattern stitch on 3 mm needles with magicloop technique = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needles: Circular needle 3 mm (min 60 cm, if you knit with magic loop technique) or double pointed needles 3 mm
Yarn suggestion: 80 (90) 90 g Jawoll from Lang Yarns (50 g = 210 m)
or 80 (90) 90 g Arwetta Classic from Filcolana (50 g = 210 m)
or 80 (90) 90 g London Merino fine from Mayflower (50 g = 175 m)

Color distribution with three colors: 40 (40) 40 g Jawoll for base color (dark gray in pattern diagrams), 30 (40) 40 g for pattern color 1 and rib edge (light gray in pattern diagrams), 10 (10) 10 g for pattern color 2 (yellow in pattern diagrams).
