Elsa Scrunchie

Elsa Scrunchie (Elsa Hair Elastic) is a hair elastic made with a Nordic inspired star pattern. The elastic holds the hair well in place as it also has an elastic inside.

Knitting tension (after washing and block): 34 stitches x 33 rows pattern knit on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needles : Circular needle 3 mm (min. 60 cm if using the Magic-Loop technique ) and circular needle 2.5 mm (min. 60 cm) or double pointed needles 3 mm, and possibly needle 5 or 6 mm as an auxiliary needle for closing the hair elastic .

Additional materials : Strong hair elastic approx. 1 cm wide
Yarn suggestion : 30 g Jawoll from Lang Yarns (50 g = 210 m)
or 30 g Meilenweit Soya from Lana Grossa (100 g = approx. 400 m)
or 30 g Arwetta Classic from Filcolana (50 g = 210 m)
Color distribution for two colors : 15 g for base color (light gray) and 15 g for pattern color (gray)
Color distribution for three colors : 15 g for base color (light gray) and 10 g pattern color 1 (gray), 5 g of pattern color 2
