Elsa Tea Cozy

Elsa Tea Cozy is a tea cozy perfect for holding the teapot warm . The hat is knitted in an ice flower pattern on the outside and stripes on the inside. The outside of the hat can also be knitted with stripes instead of the ice flower pattern or just in one color if you want a simpler style. If you knit without a pattern, the hat will not retain heat as well as when knitted in a pattern. The hat in the picture is knitted in Trio in colors 31 (white) and 340 (dark green) from Navia.

Knitting strength (after washing and block): 20 stitches x 23 rows pattern knitting on 5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm Note: If you knit looser/tighter pattern stitches than stockinette stitches, you need to adjust the needle size accordingly.

Recommended needles: Circular needle 5 mm (40-60 cm)

Color distribution in three colors: 90 ( 90) 100 g Trio for base color, 90 (90) 100 g for pattern color 1 and 20 (20) 20 for pattern color 2

Tip: Knit with two colors instead of three, where MF2 is the same color as MF1 to save on yarn consumption.
