Katrin Mittens - Winter Edition

Katrin Mittens - Winter Edition (Katrin Mittens - Winter Version) is a pair of unisex mittens with a classic Faroese pattern, which is perfect for winter use. You can knit the mittens in three different sizes: S (M) and L. Note: The mittens are knitted in wool/alpaca, which makes the mittens filter and shrink in general use. The mittens are the successor to Katrin Mittens , and are knitted on larger needles with thicker yarn, which makes the mittens extra warm.

Full length (without ribbing): 20 (23) 25.5 cm

Width measured at the center of the glove: 10.5 (10.5) 11 cm

Knitting density (before washing and block): 28 mx 26 p pattern knitting on needles 3.5 mm with magicloop technique (before washing and pressing) = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needle 3.5 mm (min 60 cm if you knit with the magic loop technique) or double pointed needles 3.5 mm

Yarn suggestion: 110 (130) 140 g Merino+ from Lang Yarns (50 g = 100 m)

or 110 (130) 140 g Lama wool from CaMaRose (50 g = 100 m)
