Katrin Tea Cozy

Katrin Tea Cozy (Katrin Tea Hood) is a tea hood perfect for keeping the teapot warm. The cap is knitted in a traditional Faroese pattern on the outside and stripes on the inside. The cap can also be knitted with stripes or only in one color if you want a simpler style. If you knit without a pattern, the tea cap does not retain the heat as well as in pattern knitting.

Knitting tension (after wash and block): 20 stitches x 23 rows pattern knitting on needle 5 mm = 10 x 10 cm ( note: the stripes in stockinette stitch should have the same knitting tension)

Guide needles: Circular needle 5 mm (40-60 cm)
