Knitted Sweater
Knitted Sweater
The Knitlidt Sweater is a classic sweater with a loose fit and a high, close-fitting collar. The sweater is knitted in the round, from top to bottom and is knitted with raglan removals and German turns both on the yoke and at the bottom of the body, which gives the neck of the sweater a round shape and makes the sweater the same length on both the front and the back. The sleeves are knitted in the round on either double pointed needles or circular needles with the Magic Loop technique (I recommend the last technique myself). The sweater in the picture is light and airy and knitted in size S in Baby from Luxgarn in the color Cobalt blue. Body and neck can be adjusted as needed and knitted longer/shorter.
Please note that there are 2 different guide needle suggestions depending on the yarn: In the recipe, the 2nd needle presale is marked as [5 mm] and written in blue (read more under guide needles and yarn suggestions) .
Size guide
Knitlidt Sweater should have a room for movement (positive ease) of approx. 12-18 cm in relation to your chest measurement. Str. XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL corresponds to a chest measurement of approx. 70-76 (76-82) 82-88 (88-94) 94-100 (100-106) 106-112 (112-118) 118-124 cm. That is that if your chest measurement is, for example, 86 cm, you should knit size S, where the outer width of the shirt is 100 cm. Remember that these measurements only apply if the knitting strength is observed. If you want a tighter fit, I would recommend going down a size in relation to your chest measurement.
