Nora Sweater Junior is a sweater with a Nordic-inspired pattern board on the yoke and a loose fit. The sweater is knitted in the round, top down and is knitted with raglan increases and German turns both on the yoke and at the bottom of the body, which makes the neck of the sweater higher and the sweater slightly longer in the back. The sweater in the pictures is knitted in size 3-4 years in Trio from Navia in the colors Dark Brown (36) and White (31). The body and neck can be adjusted as needed and knitted longer/shorter. Note: the pattern diagrams are attached in another PDF file.

Nora Sweater Junior should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 14 cm in relation to the child's chest measurement. 1½ (2) 3-4 (5-6) 7-8 (9-10) 11-12 years corresponds to a chest measurement of approx. 50 (54) 56 (60) 64 (72) 78 cm. This means that if the child's chest measurement is, for example, 56 cm, you should knit size 3-4 years, where the sweater's width is 70 cm. Remember that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is observed.

Note: If you knit looser (tighter) pattern stitches than stockinette stitches, you need to go down (up) the needle accordingly.

Recommended needles: Circular needle 4 mm (possibly 40 cm), 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm (40 cm and 80 cm with magic loop technique)
