Novice Scarf
Novice Scarf
Scarves have really become fashionable again, and that's why I've made a beginner-friendly scarf so that everyone can join the trend. Novice Scarf is a soft and light scarf knitted in merino wool and cashmere or alpaca wool. The scarf can also function as a bandana. The scarf becomes almost 20% wider and almost 10% narrower in use. If you want a warmer scarf, you can add a trailing thread. The scarf is beginner-friendly with a simple hole pattern and quickly knitted, as it is knitted on needles 6 mm.
Small scarf / bandana : 63 cm x 26 cm (height x width)
Guide needles: 6 mm circular needle (60 cm or longer)
Knitting density (before washing and block): 15 stitches x 36 rows in garter stitch on needles 6 mm = 10 x 10 cm
Yarn suggestion: 30 g Jawoll from Lang Yarns (50 g = 200 m) knit together with 20 g Kid Color from Lang Yarns (25 g = 230)
or 30 g Soja Meilenweit from Lana Grossa (50 g = 200 m) knit together with 20 g Silkhair from Lana Grossa (25 g = 200)
or 30 g Arwetta from Filcolana (25 g = 210 m) knit together with 20 g Tilia from Filcolana (50 g = 300 m)
